Stanford Hotel&Resort Tongyeong

Staffs are so kind, knowledgeable and proactive to help. I’ve stayed here 5 different rooms at hotel and condo. During the weekend, condo side is more crowded and loud. So I prefer a hotel room. All of room types were great. Highly recommend! The view and terrace are superb.

My room here was incredible. If you can get a room with a view of the bay, do it. It’s an amazing view in the morning. Also really love the fact the bedroom was split off from the main room area. Very nice hotel, staff are nice however if you check in late in the evening, you will hear about it.

Reasonably priced, modern and clean rooms. Great facilities and only a 20ish minute bus ride to the town centre. The location is outstanding - the view from the hotel balcony was the best I've ever experienced, even in rainy season. Polite and friendly staff, and the hotel restaurant served tasty and well prepared food. Only criticisms would be that some facilities were not available during the weekdays, and that there could be a greater variety of local food on offer in the hotel restaurant. Overall a very nice stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere nice to stay in the area.

Situated uphill. Nice strategic view of the room facing east or west depends on what is available. Can be crowded over Fri and sat. Hotel Restaurant serves good food . But you need walk down 5-8 min for food outside. Swimming pool was cool but you got to pay $10,000,won which I understood to upkeep the place. They have gum, sauna and also massage chair facilities. Hotel has C U convenience shop at basement and hence convenient.

I dreaded on staying at motels or pool villas which were too big for my need (and I wasn't planning to use the pool in December) so this hotel and accommodations were perfect. The bed was comfortable, wifi was fast, shower water pressure was great. View from the hotel was amazing and breakfast at the Cafe downstairs was good with amazing service (nothing exceptionally amazing but no less than other hotel breakfast buffets). Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, if I ever travel Tongyoung again, I will definitely stay here

everything was good including the room size, bed size, and the balcony plus a nice ocean view. The housekeepers and all the staff were helpful with care. The breakfast buffet was also nice as there was individually portioned butter. Oh. It was hard to find small portioned butter in any other place... But there was one little thing I was unhappy with. There is no shower booth but a shower curtain. It's useless. All the water was dripping on the floor and every time having a shower, the foot mat got thoroughly wet

The view from our room was simply amazing! Despite us staying over the Chuseok peroid (7th to 10th Oct 2025), the service from the staff was excellent (I assume there must have been manpower shortage). Special mention to the Director of Food & Beverage as he served us during dinner. Never have I stayed in a hotel where the Director was so hands-on. We will definitely return to this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Stanford Hotel & Resort in Tongyeong and had a pleasant experience. The sauna was a highlight, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The hotel room offered a stunning city view, which added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Additionally, the facilities were well-maintained and satisfactory. From the hotel, you can take bus number 100 to easily reach the city center or the bus terminal.
